Now that the world is broken
and riots rule our streets
Now that the economy has crashed
and theives rule our banks
Now that the governments are corrupt
and tyrants rule our countrys
Now that the hospitals have collapsed
and disease takes our lives
Now peace has been forgotten
and war tears us apart
Now that all hope is gone
and we have given up
and thrown away our freedom
what can we do
but wait for the end

Count your blessing
For life comes at you like a raging army
it takes you by the neck and dangles you off a cliff
it brakes into your house and kills your family
it drves drunk and kills your friends
its has no respect for you or your dignity
Its and enemy you cant win against
its a mountain we can never climb
a trap we can never escape
Life is our enemy
and also our twin
our brother
our alter ego
our deathly shadow
Lifes a soldier
a torturer
a theif
a jester
a judge
Our Jailer.

He says go left.
She says go right.
He says go straight on.
She says go backwards.
He says walk with me.
She says talk with me.
He says I want you with me.
She says I need you with me.
He grins.
She laughs.
He weeps.
She cries.
The sun rises.
The sun sets.
The seasons change.
Winter becomes Spring.
Summer becomes Autumn.
Saplings becomes trees.
Friends become enemies.
Enemies become friends.
The river runs into the sea.
The time for decision is running out.
He becomes decisive.
She becomes indecisive.
He becomes sure of himself.
She becomes doubtful.
He is confused.
She is confused.

What do I do!!!?
What do I do now?
I'm confused and lost.
I've taken a turn into a dark ally.
I've hit the dead end of life.
The barred windows of happiness.
The locked gates of love,
Are just beyond my reach.
As I stretch through the bars,
That cut my face with their jagged edge of hate.
The thing i need most is always just out of my reach.
Always just there where I cannot get.
What do I do?
When the ones around me turn against me.
And my own Armour becomes my biggest weakness.
What can I do?
When every day is a new battle that's never won.
And at the end of the day I am scarred and defeated
When blood no longer runs through my veins.
And my enemy lingers over me.
What can I do?
But give up.
And let the angel of death.
Be my final companion
Through the gray planes of the wasteland of death.
Where nothing can harm me,
....ever again

As we sit here talking about the past.
Remembering the time we spent together.
Remembering the laughs and the jokes.
Remembering the tears and the sorrows.
Remembering the melodies I'd play for you.
Remembering the this world we built together.
I say.
Let's talk, not remember.
Let's talk about the future.
Let's talk about the fun we'll have.
Let's talk about the tears we'll share.
Let's talk about the future we'll have.
Let's talk, not remember.

As I sit on these stairs.
Holding my head in my hands.
Feeling my heart and soul cascade down my face.
Like the leaves fall from the trees.
My mind wanders over the memories.
Picking the best.
Destroying the worse.
My reflection in your eyes.
The smell of your hair in the wind.
The feel of your lips of mine.
All this my mind remembers
The good.
The terrific.
The perfect moments of us together.
But it shuns the worse.
The heartbreaks.
The tears.
The goodbyes.
I now see all this clearly.
I relive them now, behind closes eyes.

The world takes its grip on me.
Suffocating and strangling me.
Sending me deeper into a slumber of madness.
A snowy cave where I can be alone with my thoughts.
Where the sweeping insensitivity of the world,
Can not hurt me.
I long for the day when I can come down from this mountain top.
And look at the world with bright eyes.
See it in the light of day, and smile.
When the land is not torn apart by tremors of hate.
And the sky is not filled with the lightning of conflict.
But for now I remain in my icy domain.
A safe haven where I can live in peace.
For now i will leave you all.
For now i will remain...Snow Blind.

Walking so long through these realms of dreams.
People's thoughts of happiness and love swirling in a storm around me.
People's thoughts of pain and anguish burning like a fire below me.
I walk between these plains not able to fit into either.
Jumping between both at the simple utter of a word.
The flicker of an eye.
I can never just be in one.
But I am in one more than the other.
Anguish dashes my heart in two.
Where the stitches of happiness have withered and thinned.
They tear with each passing beat.
Each cry of help.
But through the blood and tears.
I can see a savior.
A breath of air.
Can this be.
A way to fix my bleeding heart.

The Start Of the End

The start of the end.
Brings along the new beginnings.
We lose the ones we love.
And find the ones we cherish.
We go through loss and depression.
Only to find happiness and companionship.
We hold tight to our old ways.
When we should be making way for the new.
When hardship and happiness are tied into one.
And a forked road is presented to us.
Our choices become what define us.
And our decisions become us.
When the unstoppable force of our will.
Meets the unmovable object that is life.
And our seat-belt comes undone.
When our airbags don't deploy.
And our ambulance gets caught in riots.
And the hospital is in the flames of discord.
We can only count on ourselves.
And our choices.
And the fate we have chosen.
To see us through the fatal crash.
Our lives are fragile.
And we are the children.
Carrying a bag of stones.
While running along a lane of glass houses.

The world.
This is were we live.
It’s where we’re destined to die & to love.
We are given a limited amount of time.
In that time, we strive for the perfection of ourselves.
And in that intent to perfect ourselves,
We take risks and commit mistakes.
We try to learn from those mistakes.
But it is the way of the world.
That we shall for ever make mistakes.
And that we shall have to take risks.
So as we stand here together.
I ask you to take a risk with me.
