The Day

I saw the day when
All our pain would go away
and the dark clouds above
Would be broken
By rays of light, and the cold
Would be replaced by warmth
But...
I blinked
And the chance was gone
We were given time
But didnt grasp the opportunity
That was presented to us
And now our problems
Surround us
