Home.
That one syllable word.
Four letters long.

It means so much.
Peace, harmony
Love, friendship.

We leave it with ease,
Like a bird leaves the nest.
We don’t notice how much,

We value it.
How much,
We need it.

Home.
Four letters long.
One syllable.

It could be:
The best four letters
And the best syllable.

To have ever been invented.

Home.

Everybody Cries

Everyones eyes
are turned to me
They look at me
with lost hope
They want me to help them
But i cant
Not this time
They cry as i walk away
But everybody cries
I run through the burning fields
A devils army behind me
My friends are consumed away
By the deamons that attack
They look to me
For salvation
but i cant help them
not this time
They cry as i walk away
But everybody cries
My heart turns to ash
As the devils reaches for me
Tormented souls falling in to his gaping jaw
They scream at me as i hang from the cliff
To reach for their out reached hands
They want me to save them
But i cant help them
Not this time
They cry as they fall to their fate
But Everybody cries
I lay scattered on the rocks bellow
My ashes filling the air
But i have no worries
For this is my eternal rest, my punishment
Everybody cries
But not me
I endured

Lies

All is a lie,
even a truth,
even the most honest of words,
from the person that I love,
are lies,
as is the earth,
the sky,
the moon,
and the universe.
Even I am a lie,
watch me go by.
Goodbye.

Lovers poem

Roses are red,
violets are blue,
sugar is sweet,
and so are you.
Blood is red,
the sky is blue,
I'm flying up there quick,
all because of you.
blood pools on the kitchen floor.
feeling light headed,
seeing stars,
trying to open the door,
I don't know where I'm headed,
but I'm sure it's far,
up to the sky,

where pigs fly free and angels run around, smiling.
Love is a hard thing to deal with...

Fate

Fate.
In short is our life
written in stone
Its an unmovable object
An iron wall in front of us
It controls and manipulates
Its the puppeteer of our future
Controling the strings that make us
Love, hate, kill, save, smile and frown
They say you cannot change your fate
"A mans Fate is written in stone" they say
But what happens when an unmoveable object such as fate
Is hit by the unstoppable force that is...
That is...
That is...

Revenge is the Sweetest Dirge

I stand over the bodies of thousandss
All the ones who got in the way
I always stood by the saying
"Never get in the way of progress"
And i believe it to be true
Progress is evolution
Evolution is progress
Its as simple as that
I decided when i was young
That those who stand in the way
Should be swiped aside
Not a note to their name
For they where a blemish on the world
"Survival of the fittest" always sounded good to me
But i saw its flaws
Being the fittest wasn't the answer
Being the most cunning was
So now i stand on this mountain top
Surrounded
By the ones who share my ideals
Millions stand outside our walls
All those who didn't see eye to eye
With us
Its a lonely pillar, being on the top
But its satisfying to look down
on the ones below
For they stood against me
Made my rise
A struggle
And with my power
I Made up for the time i lost
With
Revenge.

A Simple Covering Of Clouds(Alt Ending)

I sit in a cafe starring out the window
The rain beats down on the sad souls of the people outside
It forces to pull there hoods down low
And the wind to pull there coats tight about them
Its Funny how
The best of days turned bad
By a simple covering of clouds
I walk down the street
Soaked to my bones with rain
And my heart sadden by the freeze of cold
An ambulance races by me
And a call on my phone tells me the trains have stopped
A suicide on the tracks
Its funny how
The happiness turns to depression
By a simple covering of clouds
I Sit in traffic leaning on the window
My mood dimmed by the lyrics of my music
And my mind confused by the thought of the day
I drive past a set of Mangled cars
And a women on her knees, blood soaked clothes, screaming to the sky
Its funny how
A simple evening drive
Turns to life changing catastrophe
By a simple covering of clouds
I sit on my floor
Leaning against the cabinets
Tears streaming down my face, but not making a sound
Blood warms my hands, and soaks into the tiles
As the knife lays idly by my side
Its funny
How the happiest of days
Is turned into suicide
By a simple covering of clouds

I Regret.

The world seems at an end.
I am with out you.
All that I have known is now finished.

You made me believe that:
I could unlock my heart from it's cage.
I could start to hope once again.

At first I did not believe my luck.
At first I thought I could believe in you.
I still do.

I just regret what has happened.

Idiot. (Child denied it's candy)

Here we are bickering.
Words fly like daggers between us.
With,
Cold stares.
Empty eyes, and
Dark thoughts.
Obliterate all else.

It's funny to think that a week ago:
We stood there laughing.
Exchanging our plans for the holidays.
With,
Heartfelt looks.
Loving eyes, and
Hopeful thoughts.

And now as I watch you walk away.
I think what an idiot I am.
Acting like a child denied it's candy.

Water through the pipes the only source of noise
I think about all that conspired on my rainy day
And notice that
Its funny how
The Best days
Are turned to hell
By a simple covering of clouds

Losing You

Your face like an angel
Is covered in sin
And it makes my blood cold
Cause i cant see within
Your eyes that are pits
Of the blackest of blues
And it tears my heart asunder
With claws of loathing
then stitches it up
With the touch of love
from all this
My mind is left daunted and deranged
And my emotions are like a tornado across the state
Of Colarado
But from all this
i still cant stand the thought
Of losing you.
