Love aftermath

A drip off a roof
Makes me realize
That love is only seen
Through false eyes
The melting snow
Like loves bane
And we take solace
In the pouring rain
As sunlit skies
And bleary eyes
Guide us down our rugged path
We hide away
From a love lost aftermath
